Devil’s Avocado

Opened face sandwich.  High cholesterol recovery food.

This is one those health food I learnt about while on the west coast.  It has almond butter and avocados.  People in California love avocados, maybe even addicted.  They start getting the shakes if they don’t get their avocado.  This is usually served as a breakfast food, but I’ve designed this to be a snack before bed.  The bee pollen is my own addition to this recipe.  Bee pollen is rumored to raise testosterone levels.  The almond butter and avocado has the good cholesterol that will help raise your HDL and lower your LDL.  Eat this snack after a workout or before bed to help facilitate recovery.


  • pumpernickel bread
  • almond butter
  • avocado
  • siracha hot sauce
  • smoked paprika and salt (or seasoned salt)
  • bee pollen


  1. Toast bread.
  2. Spread almond butter.
  3. Slice avocado.
  4. Squeeze hot sauce on top.
  5. Season
  6. sprinkle bee pollen on top.
