Wonton Soup

Yield:
Wontons: 30 servings
Soup: 8 servings

Ingredients:

For wontons

1 kg ground pork
50 g green onions, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
20 g ginger, finely chopped
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp salt
2 tsp sesame oil
100 wonton wrappers
water

For soup

1 L chicken stock
100 g spinach leaves
40 g green onions, emicer
40 g cilantro, chopped

Procedure:

For wontons

  1.  Mix pork, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, salt, and sesame oil to make filling.
  2.  Scoop filling onto wonton wrapper (about 1 tsp). Wet edges of wrapper with water. Fold over.
  3.  Boil in water for 5 minutes.

For soup

  1.  Boil chicken stock. Season with salt and pepper.
  2.  Place several spinach leaves in the bottom of bowl.
  3.  Add hot broth.
  4.  Add three wontons.
  5.  Top with green onion and cilantro.
